Introduction
PyCon US 2026 is just around the corner, taking place from May 14–17 in sunny Long Beach, CA. This year, Microsoft and GitHub are excited to join the community, and we’d love to meet you. Whether you’re a seasoned Pythonista or just starting out, stop by our booth to share your experiences with our tools and services. We’ll have plenty to show, talk about, and even teach you in quick, hands-on sessions. And don’t miss a special collaboration with Meta’s team on Saturday! For a full overview, jump to the talks section or our lab offerings.

Booth Activities and Hands-On Labs
Drop by our booth for 10-minute interactive labs that let you get your hands dirty with the latest technologies. No prior experience needed—just bring your curiosity. Here is what you can try:
- GitHub Copilot – Boost your Python coding with AI pair programming.
- Azure DocumentDB – Build document‑oriented NoSQL apps with ease.
- Microsoft Foundry – Explore integrated AI development workflows.
- Microsoft Agent Framework – Create intelligent agents that work for you.
- Azure PostgreSQL – Manage data with a fully managed, scalable relational database.
- Azure AI Search – Add powerful search capabilities to your applications.
Our team will be on hand to guide you through each lab, answer questions, and share best practices. It’s a great chance to see how these tools can accelerate your Python projects.
Special Demo: Pylance and Pyrefly Integration
Make sure to visit the Meta booth on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. for a live demonstration of the new integration between Pylance and Meta’s cutting‑edge Pyrefly type checker. This integration is currently in early preview within our Insiders build, and we can’t wait to bring it to all users later this year. If you’re passionate about type safety and Python tooling, this is a session you won’t want to miss.
